This isn’t just a card. It’s a tribute to a legend.
Canadian artist Chris Tutty painted Boss Bear in honour of one of the most famous grizzlies in Canadian history — the legendary Boss Bear of Banff National Park. A massive, dominant grizzly who roamed the Rockies for decades, fathering cubs from Banff all the way to Yellowstone, and leaving his mark on an entire ecosystem. His story ended tragically when he was struck and killed by a train — but his legacy lives on in the bloodlines of grizzlies across the mountain west.
Chris’s painting captures Boss in all his raw, explosive power — jaws wide open, a massive fish clamped in his teeth, set against a blazing autumn forest of reds, oranges, and golds. Bold, vivid, and impossible to ignore — just like the bear himself.
